Rutland Hotel
The Rutland Hotel are hiring a Content Creator on a Part Time basis.
Core Responsibilities
1. Content Planning & Coordination • Liaise with Social Media Champions (SMCs) from each venue/department (e.g. Kyloe, Heads & Tales, The Huxley, Rutland Hotel) to gather weekly content priorities, events, and special promotions. • Maintain a rolling monthly content calendar to ensure key activations, seasonal campaigns, and promotional events are planned in advance.
2. Content Creation • Capture short-form video and photo content across venues (e.g. cocktails being made, food plating, behind-the-scenes moments, staff highlights, customer experiences). • Freedom to utilise skillsets from departmental SMCs for photography or video • Write compelling, brand-aligned copy, tailored to platform and audience. • Ensure content reflects the unique tone and visual identity of each venue while staying on-brand. • Ensure that all social media has a clear call to action to invite more bookings and engagement.
3. Social Media Execution • Create and schedule 2 posts per week per venue across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. This can be a mix of reels and stories but we would expect a minimum or 4 grid posts per venue, per platform, per month. • Use scheduling tool Meta Business Suite (or similar) to automate weekly content rollouts. • Monitor basic post-performance metrics and flag anything notable (high engagement, complaints, or customer questions) to the relevant manager. • Send a monthly engagement report to leadership to highlight progress. #
4. Engagement & Community Support • Collaborate with each venue's team to gather UGC (user-generated content) and respond to tagged posts where appropriate. • Ensure that customer-facing messaging remains responsive and friendly utilising Birdeye to facilitate prompt response times.
5. Creative Development & Trendspotting • Stay informed about current social media trends, audio tracks, and formats relevant to hospitality and F&B. • Propose fresh content ideas (e.g. staff spotlights, "day in the life", trending challenges and collaberations).
6. Internal Training & Support • Support SMCs with content coaching – helping them understand what’s working, encouraging them to capture more, and reinforcing brand guidelines.
7. Tools and Skills • Confident using Canva, CapCut (or similar editing tools), Instagram Reels editor, TikTok editor. • Organised with excellent time management – able to balance multiple venue priorities. • A natural eye for storytelling, brand tone, and visual appeal
