Forrest Road is one of Signature Group’s most exciting new openings, bringing together two distinct hospitality experiences under one roof.

The venue will combine a premium, food-led dining pub at the front, centred around a charcoal oven and delivering elevated, fresh dishes, with a fast-paced, high-energy sports bar at the back.

The sports bar will be a high-volume, high-impact environment, designed to deliver a bold, crowd-pleasing menu alongside a vibrant atmosphere. This side of the operation will play a key role in driving volume, energy and commercial performance across the site.

About the Role

As Deputy General Manager, you’ll lead the sports bar operation, owning pace, energy and execution across one of the busiest parts of the venue.

Working alongside the General Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient service during peak trading, managing large teams, and creating an engaging, high-energy guest experience.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-volume environments and can confidently lead teams through busy, high-pressure service.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

· 1–2 years’ experience in a management role within a high-volume bar or late-night venue.

· Proven ability to manage fast-paced service and large guest volumes.

· Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate teams under pressure.

· Excellent organisational and communication skills.

· Experience managing staffing levels, rotas, and operational performance.

Desirable:

· Experience in sports-led or late-night venues.

· Strong knowledge of drinks service and high-volume operations.

· Experience driving upselling and commercial performance in a fast-paced environment.
