We're looking for a Duty Manager who shares that ambition and wants to help take Badger & Co to the next level.


The Role


As Duty Manager, you'll lead by example on the floor, creating memorable guest experiences while supporting and developing the team around you. You'll work closely with the General Manager to drive standards, coach the team and continue building a restaurant we're all proud of.


We aren't looking for someone to simply run shifts. We're looking for someone who wants to help build a restaurant. Someone who loves developing people, is passionate about creating unforgettable guest experiences, and gets excited about continually improving every part of the business. Responsibilities

  • Lead every service with confidence, ensuring every guest receives warm, genuine and knowledgeable hospitality.
  • Coach, mentor and develop the team, helping them grow in confidence, product knowledge and service standards.
  • Champion our storytelling style of service, encouraging the team to guide guests through the menu and create memorable dining experiences.
  • Support recruitment, training and onboarding of new team members.
  • Drive exceptional standards across the restaurant, ensuring every detail is right before, during and after service.
  • Manage labour, stock, cash handling and daily operational procedures.
  • Resolve guest feedback professionally, turning challenges into positive experiences.
  • Ensure licensing, health and safety, and food safety standards are maintained at all times.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to deliver seamless service and achieve shared goals.


We're looking for someone who

  • Has previous management or supervisory experience in a quality restaurant.
  • Leads from the front and enjoys being on the floor during service.
  • Is passionate about hospitality and genuinely enjoys developing people.
  • Understands that exceptional guest experiences come from consistency, teamwork and attention to detail.
  • Is organised, calm under pressure and confident making decisions.
  • Wants to build a long-term career in hospitality.
  • Shares our ambition to continually improve and raise the standards of the restaurant.
