Badger & Co is a restaurant in the heart of Edinburgh, built on great food, thoughtful drinks and proper hospitality. Our menu celebrates Scotland’s rich culinary heritage, using native ingredients, time-honoured techniques and traditional flavours, reimagined in a contemporary way. A regional Scottish larder with a modern twist.

Behind the bar, we take the same approach. We design and create our own drinks menus to sit alongside the kitchen, with a focus on quality, seasonality and creativity.

Duties

Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to a high standard
Deliver warm, genuine hospitality in a busy restaurant environment
Make confident drink recommendations to complement the food menu
Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar
Follow all licensing laws and responsible service standards
Handle payments, tabs and tills accurately

Required Skills

Good knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer and wine
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to stay calm and consistent during busy service
Well organised with strong attention to detail
A team-focused approach, working closely with floor and kitchen
A genuine interest in hospitality as a long-term career
